Upcoming WashU junior Madison Yue has been awarded a distinguished Peter Roth Internship from the Paley Center for Media located in New York.

Majoring in sociology within the Arts & Sciences and marketing at Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, Yue is one of 20 awarded Roth internships for 2025. These compensated internships provide hands-on experience along with chances to engage with television executives and creators. During this summer, Yue has explored behind the scenes at the Today show, toured sets for The Kelly Clarkson Show and Late Night with Seth Meyers, among others, and created social media content across various platforms.
“We are thrilled to welcome and support such a skilled, enthusiastic, and committed group of aspiring media leaders, creators, writers, and visionaries,” expressed Peter Roth, the former president of both Warner Bros. Television Group and Fox Entertainment, for whom the internship is named. “I have full confidence, and I am assured, that they will significantly contribute to the enhancement and cultivation of exceptional television.”
Established in 1975, the Paley Center is devoted to preserving media history and examining its impact on culture and society. For further details, visit paleycenter.org.
