The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center reveals the grand launch of the 2025-26 UGA Presents season, showcasing a remarkable evening with global sensation Lea Salonga in “Stage, Screen & Everything In Between” on Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Hodgson Concert Hall.
Patrons are encouraged to witness the artistry of Salonga, the Tony Award-winning talent celebrated for her striking stage charisma in Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, and other Broadway masterpieces. She is also the voice behind Disney beloved characters such as Mulan and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, and was recently honored as a Disney Legend.
During this exceptional concert, she and her ensemble will deliver a thoughtfully selected array of Broadway hits, beloved classics, and personal selections from her illustrious career.
The excitement commences one day prior, on Sept. 10, with two unique events leading up to the season-opening performance:
- A Dialogue with Lea Salonga: Join the audience for an insightful discussion as Salonga convenes with Jeffrey Martin, director of the UGA Performing Arts Center, to explore her extraordinary four-decade journey. This conversation will offer a rare, personal look into the life and creative journey of a performing arts legend. This complimentary event is set for 5 p.m. in Ramsey Concert Hall. No tickets are necessary.
- First-Ever Poster Sale: Commemorate the PAC’s 30th anniversary with a poster sale — showcasing both signed and unsigned posters from former guest artists. Scheduled from 6-7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby, a portion of the proceeds will support the new Arts Impact Endowment, established to sustain arts education and outreach for the future.
UGA Presents at 30
The UGA Performing Arts Center’s series featuring international professional touring artists is marking its 30th anniversary throughout the entire season. During more than 40 events, audiences will enjoy world-class music, dance, and theater — and honor the PAC’s 30th year with a Feb. 1, 2026, gala performance by superstar cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
