Microsoft has disclosed that one of the malicious entities responsible for the ongoing exploitation of SharePoint vulnerabilities is utilizing Warlock ransomware on affected systems.
The technology behemoth, in an update released on Wednesday, indicated that the conclusions are derived from an “enhanced evaluation and threat intelligence stemming from our persistent observation of exploitation activities by Storm-2603.”
