Rawlinson Stadium launches with ribbon-cutting and a Trojan triumph
The venue on the University Park Campus is now the new base for the USC women’s soccer and lacrosse squads.

Rawlinson Stadium, the newly established home for the USC women’s soccer and lacrosse teams, debuted in splendid style on Sunday with a celebratory ribbon-cutting and a USC victory.
“The newly established Rawlinson Stadium is not merely a remarkable facility,” USC Interim President Beong-Soo Kim stated. “It signifies USC’s dedication to women’s soccer and lacrosse. It represents our community. Furthermore, it exemplifies USC’s resolve to compete at the highest standard of athletics nationally.”
Subsequent to the opening ceremonies, the USC women’s soccer team proceeded to inaugurate the stadium with a 4-0 victory over California Baptist. Trojan Jaiden Anderson netted the stadium’s inaugural goal by converting a penalty kick in the 23rd minute.
The initiative includes spectator viewing decks and social areas, an advanced press box, food stalls, and can accommodate 2,500 attendees.
The stadium is named to honor the family of distinguished Los Angeles philanthropist Joseph Rawlinson. He shared a close friendship with fellow L.A. benefactor and homebuilder Fritz B. Burns, whose charitable organization is presently managed by members of the Rawlinson family.
