EVENT NOTIFICATION

DATE: 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, July 13

OCCASION: The University of Michigan Biological Station extends an invitation to guests to explore its historic grounds, interact with scientists and scholars, and discover their research endeavors.

Attendees will have the chance to traverse the campus and converse with UMBS researchers who will be present to elaborate on their fields of specialization—including the Great Lakes piping plover breeding team that has dedicated over three decades to the conservation of this shorebird species—and exhibit living organisms as well as mammal specimens from the UMBS collection.

Admission is complimentary and accessible to everyone.

LOCATION: The campus is situated at 9133 Biological Road in Pellston, accessible via Riggsville Road, approximately 20 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge and about 20 miles northwest of Petoskey.
