Roberto Perdisci, Patty and D.R. Grimes Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and the Director of the UGA Institute of Cybersecurity and Privacy, has been chosen as an honoree for an Amazon Research Award.
Amazon Research Awards (ARA) offer unrestricted funding and AWS Promotional Credits to academic scholars exploring diverse research subjects across various fields. In this round, ARA revealed 73 awardees representing 46 universities across 10 nations.
The awards were allocated across five categories during the fall 2024 round: AI for Information Security, Automated Reasoning, AWS AI, AWS Cryptography, and Sustainability. Submissions were evaluated based on the quality of their scientific merits and their potential influence on both the research community and society at large.
