Cybersecurity analysts have outlined a fresh initiative named OneClik that utilizes Microsoft’s ClickOnce software distribution technology alongside custom Golang backdoors to infiltrate entities in the energy, oil, and gas industries.
“The initiative displays traits consistent with threat actors linked to China, although attribution is approached with caution,” stated Trellix researcher Nico Paulo.
