Educational institutions and governmental entities in North America and Asia have been the focus of a newly identified Linux malware known as Auto-Color between November and December 2024, as revealed by recent discoveries from Palo Alto Networks’ Unit 42.
“Upon installation, Auto-Color grants malicious actors complete remote control over infected devices, rendering eradication exceedingly challenging without expert tools.
