Installation
Installing and using RLDB may seem intimidating for users, but its functionality is straightforward. A number of prompts will then appear for users to set their preferred installation location and complete installation. After installing, users must close all applications except those necessary for internet connectivity and disable screen capture or instant messaging programs before reconnecting their computers to the internet.
Once a student has completed the installation process, they should visit a course that requires RLDB and navigate directly to its quiz activity. When on this page they will be asked to click “Launch Lockdown Browser,” at which point a new tab will open which allows accessing quiz questions without leaving RLDB’s environment.
