It’s a Thursday morning at the Perry (Ga.) Events Center, a spacious, white-walled hall that once functioned as an armory. Almost 150 participants have gathered for the 2nd Integrative Precision Agriculture Conference, organized by the University of Georgia’s Institute for Integrative Precision Agriculture (IIPA).

When the inaugural conference took place two years prior, the aim was to unite industry leaders, policymakers, and agricultural specialists to recognize and propose solutions for the urgent issues confronting farmers worldwide. This year, according to IIPA director and conference coordinator George Vellidis, is focused on witnessing some of those solutions implemented, one of which is currently showcased at the front of the hall.
