Investigation of this incident revealed that Shargin had compromised TCS software used for administering exams at various centers and granted remote access to candidates, giving him remote control of student exams in return for fees charged from them. 20 students were expelled from taking further exams due to Shargin’s scam;

Online exams have become more prevalent, and students have developed various means of cheating during them. Mikhail Shargin was arrested at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport last year on charges of hacking into JEE Main exam software and offering students cheating access to questions early. This scam involved both foreign students and an engineering entrance exam coaching institute based out of Sonepat in Haryana; since then, the CBI has conducted raids in multiple cities and confiscated laptops belonging to those suspected.
3. Use a Friend to Answer Questions
If you want to gain admission into one of the IITs, passing the JEE exam will be essential.
