While examining our web honeypot information, I stumbled upon a peculiar new request header I had not encountered previously: “X-Forwarded-App”. My initial assumption was that this might be yet another complication involving a proxy server’s bucket brigade leaking information when a specific “App” establishes a connection to it. Thus, I delved a little further and discovered requests such as this:
