George Kadifa is a co-founder and managing director of Sumeru Equity Partners. He possesses four decades of practical experience in the technology realm. Before becoming part of Sumeru in 2015, Kadifa held the position of executive vice president at Hewlett-Packard, reporting to the CEO and being a member of the executive committee. During his time at HP, Kadifa’s duties encompassed spearheading growth strategies and partnership programs with essential allies, service providers, and major clients, in addition to overseeing the HP software division.
Kadifa formerly acted as an operating partner at Silver Lake, a worldwide technology investment firm. There, he was accountable for propelling growth and enhancing operations across a diverse array of enterprises within the firm’s large-cap investment portfolio.
Kadifa possesses substantial proficiency in establishing and directing technology firms. He has occupied leadership roles at companies in technology and management consulting, including IBM; Corio Corporation, which he founded; Oracle; Booz Allen Hamilton; Xerox PARC; and Fairchild. He earned a BS in electrical engineering from the American University in Beirut, an MS in electrical engineering from Caltech, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
