The furnishings and interiors curriculum within the College of Family and Consumer Sciences has been honored with the Excellence in Education Award by the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

This accolade showcases the exceptional quality and uniformity of the program’s student entries to the NKBA Student Design Competition for the 2023-24 academic year. The FACS program stood out as one of only seven to earn this honor on a national scale.
