Equiturn Business Solutions, based in Dania Beach, Florida, has secured the top position on the 2025 Seminole 100 list of the quickest expanding companies owned or directed by Florida State University graduates.

Directed by FSU graduates Ron Krudo (B.S. ’13, MPA ’14) and Joshua Orlinsky (B.S. ’13), the number one company was honored on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee during the eighth annual Seminole 100 Celebration.

Equiturn Business Solutions is an international investment banking firm that enables forward-thinking leaders and organizations through innovative advisory, regulated financial services, and customized wealth management solutions aimed at fostering growth and innovation.

Since its inception in 2017, the firm has collaborated with over 500 businesses, with 90% of clients indicating substantial growth within their initial year.

“It is a privilege to acknowledge the achievements of our remarkable alumni,” stated FSU President Richard McCullough. “Their creative products, services, and solutions stimulate economic development and enhance our communities. They personify the entrepreneurial spirit of Florida State University and inspire future generations of leaders and innovators.”

Every year, FSU recognizes its leading 100 alumni entrepreneurs through the Seminole 100 event, where recipients learn their specific rankings and accept their awards while connecting with fellow business executives.

The Seminole 100 companies were evaluated by the international financial services company EY, which validated the information provided and assessed the firms based on their compound annual growth rate over the preceding three years.

During the ceremony, attendees listened to keynote speaker and FSU alumnus John “JD” Doughney, an experienced global marketing and sales leader, as well as a lecturer at Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business. Doughney obtained dual bachelor’s degrees in communication and political science (2002) along with a master’s degree in integrated marketing communication (2003) from Florida State University.

This year’s honorees encompass a variety of sectors, including energy, technology, law, marketing, and retail. Out of the 100 companies acknowledged, 79 are located in Florida, with representation from 14 states nationwide, highlighting the influence and reach of FSU alumni across the country.
