Franklin College has recognized four current first-year students as the 2025 Cora Nunnally Miller Scholars in Fine Arts. Each recipient will receive a scholarship of $2,500, in addition to any existing financial aid they have. This support extends over the next three years for each student, provided they maintain good academic standing as majors in the arts.
This scholarship program, enabled by a $17 million donation to the university following Miller’s death in 2015, aims to acknowledge outstanding artistic ability, encourage interdisciplinary partnerships in the arts, enhance the arts on the UGA campus and beyond, and offer unique opportunities to the students in this cohort.
