Virtualization and networking frameworks have come under assault by a malicious entity referred to as Fire Ant, as part of an extended cyber espionage operation.
The actions, noted this year, primarily aim to breach organizations’ VMware ESXi and vCenter ecosystems, alongside network devices, Sygnia reported in a fresh document released today.
“The malicious actor utilized a mix of
