Washington University in St. Louis is set to evaluate WashU Alerts, its urgent communication system, at 8:55 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7. (An alternative date has been arranged for Oct. 9 if necessary.) This evaluation ensures that WashU can efficiently relay information to the community during an emergency.
The evaluation will include all WashU Alert methods, such as phones, emails, text notifications, beacons, voice alarms over fire alarm systems, desktop alerts, and the WashU Safe application.
