Respondus LockDown Browser and Monitor software provides remote proctoring to reduce cheating during online assessments, prohibiting students from printing, copying, going to another URL, or accessing programs while taking an exam.
Faculty can use Canvas Commons’ Respondus Monitor Module to incorporate Respondus Browser for Student Use into their courses and give their students a link for download of this browser for use when accessing Canvas and taking quizzes. Students then must open this browser instead of their regular web browser in order to login successfully and take quizzes.
What is Respondus Monitor?
