Cloudflare on Tuesday announced that it effectively countered a record-breaking volumetric distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) assault that soared to 11.5 terabits per second (Tbps).
“During the last several weeks, we have independently thwarted numerous hyper-volumetric DDoS attacks, with the most significant hitting peaks of 5.1 Bpps and 11.5 Tbps,” the web infrastructure and security firm stated in a message on X.
