Cybersecurity analysts have mapped the progression of a commonly utilized remote access trojan known as AsyncRAT, initially launched on GitHub in January 2019 and has subsequently become the basis for multiple other adaptations.
“AsyncRAT has established itself as a fundamental element of contemporary malware and as a widespread danger that has transformed into an extensive web of forks and variations,” stated ESET.
