Fahd A. Ahmad, MD, an associate professor in pediatrics, along with Tyler Fraum, MD, an associate professor in radiology, have been appointed as the Carol B. and Jerome T. Loeb Teaching Fellows for the period of 2025-27 at WashU Medicine.

This two-year fellowship allows the recipients the opportunity to concentrate on introducing innovative concepts aimed at improving the education of medical students and residents. The initiative was initiated in 2004 through a contribution from Carol B. and Jerome T. Loeb to promote medical education.

In conjunction with this fellowship, Ahmad intends to create a comprehensive financial well-being curriculum for pediatric trainees. Meanwhile, Fraum’s project under the fellowship aspires to overhaul the radiologic physics curriculum for resident trainees at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology.
