Florida State University’s Panhellenic Association Garnered Prestigious National Recognition

The Panhellenic Association at Florida State University has been honored with seven national accolades, including the most prestigious award earned by a college Panhellenic association, during this year’s National Panhellenic Conference.

This conference recognized FSU with the 2024-25 National Panhellenic Conference Excellence Award, which involves 26 national/international organizations dedicated solely to women and supports collegiate and alumnae sorority members in enhancing the sorority experience.

FSU’s Panhellenic Association serves as the governing entity for 17 women’s sororities on the campus. It stands as the largest and oldest women’s group at Florida State University. Every chapter emphasizes service, academic achievement, leadership, camaraderie, and self-improvement.

These recent accolades contribute to the association and its chapters’ total achievements, which include over 50 regional, national, and international recognitions from their governing bodies last year.

“Being a Panhellenic woman at Florida State holds great significance for me,” expressed FSU Panhellenic President Alexa Hymes. “I feel incredibly fortunate to be among women who are genuinely dedicated to uplifting each other and fostering a more robust community every day. Earning the Excellence Award is a significant privilege and a genuine reflection of all that we accomplish as a council.”
