Cybersecurity analysts have discovered new Android spyware remnants that are probably linked to the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and have been disseminated to targets by disguising as VPN applications and Starlink, a satellite internet service provided by SpaceX.
Mobile protection firm Lookout reported that it identified four instances of a monitoring tool it follows.
