
Mark R. Rank, the Herbert S. Hadley Professor of Social Welfare at the Brown School of Washington University in St. Louis, has been recognized as a finalist for three prestigious independent publisher book honors for his latest work, “The Random Factor: How Chance and Luck Significantly Influence Our Lives and Our Environment,” released by the University of California Press.
The honors include the Eric Hoffer Book Award, the Next Generation Indie Book Award, and the 19th annual National Indie Excellence Award.
Moreover, “The Random Factor” is currently in the process of being adapted into a documentary series for television with global distribution.
