J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Josh Brooks has been selected for the Southeastern Conference Executive Committee, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Brooks is among only seven members on the 2025–26 committee, which supervises the financial and budgetary matters of the SEC and is tasked with sanctioning the conference’s yearly operating budget and directing long-term financial strategies alongside the Office of the Commissioner.
Brooks will fulfill a two-year role (2025–27) as the committee’s sole representative for athletics directors, providing significant leadership experience and institutional knowledge to the assembly. The SEC Executive Committee consists of the three officers of the Conference and four members chosen at the regular annual conference gathering. The elected members include a Chief Executive Officer, Director of Athletics, Senior Woman Administrator, and Faculty Athletics Representative.
