What constitutes a home? It doesn’t necessarily need to have four walls and a roof, Corey Straughter Jr. asserts. Although he aspires to assist individuals in obtaining that sense of security with their ideal residence, for the moment, he is fostering that atmosphere of warmth and connection on campus.

Straughter, a third-year student at the University of Georgia pursuing three majors across the Terry College of Business and the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences, prioritizes the concept of belonging in his daily life. This starts with his consistent willingness to say “yes” when someone requests assistance. By delving into economics, real estate, and philosophy, he aims to acquire a diverse set of skills to support others in various situations that may arise.
