A fresh collection of leadership initiatives is now accessible for WashU personnel eager to enhance their leadership skills. The institution is dedicated to cultivating leaders within its campus community.
The Learning and Development group at Washington University in St. Louis, in collaboration with the Leadership and Management Development team from Human Resources, has rejuvenated and broadened its online and face-to-face offerings, designed to promote a culture of ongoing education. These learning opportunities will center on employee growth, along with manager and leadership training. Each program, class, workshop, and experience is intended to be practical and immediately useful for the participant. Staff can enroll and engage in programs at their individual pace. Certain courses necessitate managerial approval.
The Institute for Leadership Excellence’s Emerging Leaders Program and Leadership Excellence and Development Program will be temporarily suspended in fiscal 2026, commencing July 1. This will facilitate a larger number of employees to receive training, better preparing them to guide their respective teams.
