ConnectWise has announced its intention to renew the digital code signing certificates employed to authenticate ScreenConnect, ConnectWise Automate, and ConnectWise remote monitoring and management (RMM) applications owing to security issues. The organization stated this action is being taken “in response to issues highlighted by an external researcher regarding the handling of specific configuration data in previous versions of ScreenConnect.”
