Cybersecurity analysts have revealed a fresh initiative aimed at Brazilian users since the beginning of 2025, intending to compromise users with a harmful extension for Chromium-based web browsers and extract user credentials.
“Certain phishing messages were dispatched from the systems of breached corporations, heightening the likelihood of a successful breach,” stated a security analyst from Positive Technologies.
