Owners of small enterprises and entrepreneurs are leveraging global trade prospects with assistance from an export training initiative offered by the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (UGA SBDC).
ExportGA is an initiative designed to aid businesses that are exporting on a limited scale or possess the potential to start exporting. Managed by the UGA SBDC’s International Trade Center, the program guides firms in pinpointing lucrative foreign markets, creating marketing plans, comprehending international logistics, and reducing risks linked to exporting. Participants obtain market research support from Terry College of Business interns as well as access to materials from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Georgia Department of Economic Development. The group of students and entrepreneurs convenes for classes four times over a span of 16 weeks.
