Microsoft has cautioned that utilizing ready-made templates, like standard Helm charts, in Kubernetes deployments may result in misconfigurations and expose sensitive information.
“Although these ‘ready-to-go’ alternatives significantly streamline the installation process, they frequently prioritize convenience over security,” stated Michael Katchinskiy and Yossi Weizman from the Microsoft Defender for Cloud Research team.
