Cybersecurity analysts are cautioning about ongoing threats presented by a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) malware called XorDDoS, noting that 71.3 percent of the assaults between November 2023 and February 2025 focused on the United States.
“From 2020 to 2023, the XorDDoS trojan has grown substantially in frequency,” stated Cisco Talos investigator Joey Chen in a report published on Thursday.
