We are excited to declare that over 1 million individuals have registered for courses, Specializations, projects, and Professional Certificates provided by Microsoft, our industry collaborator since 2021. Learners from Microsoft represent over 195 nations, with India, the U.S., Canada, Pakistan, and the U.K. being the top five countries.
Since our collaboration began in April 2021, Microsoft has introduced 23 Professional Certificates and 14 Specializations (covering more than 170 courses), in addition to 15 standalone courses and two Guided Projects—all centered around career-relevant subjects, including cybersecurity, UX design, data analysis, and AI. In November, we enhanced our collaboration with Microsoft by launching the initial Professional Certificates from Xbox on Coursera: Xbox Product Manager and Xbox Graphic Designer.
“When we joined forces with Coursera nearly four years ago, our objective was to facilitate access for everyone to gain the most sought-after Microsoft cloud and AI skills—specifically how to utilize Microsoft technology to enhance their careers,” stated Geoff Hirsch, Head of Training Services Partner Channel at Microsoft. “I’m delighted that we’ve motivated more than 1 million individuals to engage with our content and fulfill their potential.”
Participants have shown a notable interest in employing specific Microsoft software in their everyday tasks. Here are the leading five Microsoft courses of all time on Coursera:
- Preparing Data for Analysis with Microsoft Excel
- Work Smarter with Microsoft Excel
- Introduction to Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
- Work Smarter with Microsoft Word
- Introduction to Computers and Operating Systems and Security
