This spring, honor the essence of the environment with a reminiscent glance at the 90s animated series “Captain Planet and the Planeteers.” Linka, Kwame, and the entire collection of action figures portraying eco-warriors are showcased at the University of Georgia Special Collections Libraries, part of a unique retrospective of the show designed to inform and motivate youngsters to engage in efforts to protect Earth from Eco-Villains that embodied genuine environmental threats.
Captain Planet: The Power is Yours is featured as part of the Ted Turner Gallery, which pays tribute to the legacy of the entrepreneur and philanthropist who originated the animated series and transmitted it through Turner Broadcasting System (TBS).
