The Massachusetts Institute of Technology will conduct a virtual press briefing with Professor Moungi G. Bawendi and President Sally Kornbluth later this morning at 10:30 AM ET, following the announcement made earlier today that Bawendi received one-third of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his contributions to “the discovery and synthesis of quantum dots.” Before Bawendi’s achievement this morning, 100 alumni, faculty, researchers, and personnel at MIT have been awarded Nobel Prizes.
