A ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) initiative named VanHelsing has reportedly taken three victims since its inception on March 7, 2025.
“The RaaS framework enables a diverse array of contributors, from seasoned cybercriminals to novices, to participate with an initial deposit of $5,000. Affiliates retain 80% of the ransom payouts, whereas the principal operators collect 20%,” Check Point stated in a report released over the weekend.
