The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) has declared allegations against 12 citizens of China for their supposed involvement in an extensive plot aimed at unlawfully acquiring information and curbing free expression and opposition worldwide.
The accused comprise two officials from the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC) Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and eight staff members of a seemingly private PRC firm, Anxun.
