Threat investigators are highlighting a recent sharply-focused phishing operation that targeted “less than five” organizations in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) to introduce a newly identified Golang backdoor known as Sosano.
The nefarious actions were particularly aimed at aviation and satellite communications firms, as reported by Proofpoint, which observed the campaign in late October.
