Maria Piñango’s class “Linguistic Significance and Conceptual Framework” utilizes both linguistics and cognitive science to investigate how we perceive meaning through language. In the previous semester, an exercise focusing on attention at the Yale University Art Gallery incorporated an artistic element into this investigation.
