The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officially connected the unprecedented $1.5 billion Bybit breach to North Korean malicious actors, as the enterprise’s CEO Ben Zhou proclaimed a “campaign against Lazarus.”
The bureau indicated that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) was accountable for the pilfering of the digital assets from the cryptocurrency platform, linking it to a particular group.
