Google Cloud has revealed quantum-resistant digital signatures within Google Cloud Key Management Service (Cloud KMS) for software-oriented keys as a means to fortify encryption mechanisms against the risks posed by cryptographically-relevant quantum computers.
This functionality, now in preview, operates alongside the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) post-quantum cryptography (PQC).
