On February 1, seven employees from UGA retired. The retirees, along with their job titles, departments, and length of service, are as follows:
- Bradley Brown, senior IT manager, College of Pharmacy, 28 years and 1 month;
- Theodis Hammock, cook I, Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration, Auxiliary Services, Oglethorpe Dining Commons, 13 years and 5 months;
- Nicholas Holt, IT manager, Mary Frances Early College of Education, information technology, 23 years and 6 months;
- Margaret McAllister, senior executive director of operations and chief of staff, Office of Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, 31 years;
- Wesley E. Meeler, carpenter, Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration, Facilities Management Division, operations and maintenance department, 26 years and 3 months;
- Margaret (Beth) Melnik, associate state director, Office of the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, Small Business Development Center, 32 years and 6 months; and
- Monica Heys Wonnacott, manager of dining commons, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Jekyll Island, 8 years and 1 month.
