A newly identified threat entity referred to as Silent Lynx has been associated with cyber offensives aimed at multiple organizations in Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
“This threat collective has earlier focused on organizations throughout Eastern Europe and Central Asian governmental research institutions engaged in financial policymaking and the banking industry,” Seqrite Labs investigator Subhajeet Singha stated in a technical analysis.
