Fraudulent sites promoting Google Chrome have been employed to spread harmful installers for a remote access trojan known as ValleyRAT.
The malware, initially discovered in 2023, is linked to a threat entity identified as Silver Fox, whose earlier attack operations mainly focused on Chinese-speaking areas such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China.
