The School of Theatre at Florida State University showcases the theatrical version of the 1974 comedic film, “Young Frankenstein.”

The narrative of Mel Brooks’ Musical “Young Frankenstein” centers around Dr. Frederick Frankenstein as he inherits his ancestor’s property and attempts to revive the deceased, resulting in uproarious disasters. Performances are scheduled from Friday, February 21, to Sunday, March 2, at the Richard G. Fallon Theatre.

“We are thrilled to invite the Tallahassee community to Transylvania with the Mel Brooks Musical ‘Young Frankenstein,’ inspired by the cherished cult classic film,” stated Brad Brock, conductor of the FSU School of Theatre. “Our faculty, team, and students have dedicated themselves relentlessly to this production, and we eagerly anticipate sharing their efforts with you!”

The ensemble includes students from the FSU School of Theatre: Vincente Tomé portraying Frankenstein, Chijioke Oparaji as The Monster, Griffin Stanley as Igor, and Olivia Windley as Inga.
