Florida State University organized the 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Student Leadership Symposium, a three-day event focused on the principle “Accelerating Community Change.” This yearly symposium brings together students from ACC universities to exchange leadership tactics and insights concerning a particular societal issue.
Led by FSU’s Center for Leadership & Service, 110 students from 17 institutions convened on Friday, Feb. 7, at Westcott Plaza for a welcoming reception featuring performances by FSU’s Golden Girls & Company Dance Team, the Marching Chiefs, and the Flying High Circus.
“The ACC upholds excellence both on and off the field,” remarked Jim Clark, FSU provost and executive vice president for Academic Affairs. “Through initiatives such as this symposium, we invest in tomorrow by cultivating leaders who can drive transformation and effect positive change. The connections you forge and the insights you acquire here will empower you to create an impact in your communities and beyond.”
