Online monitoring is intended to be equally effective as In-Person monitoring, yet research supporting this premise is scarce. To fill this deficit, a study was executed comparing examination scores of candidates assessed In-Person and Online at a public, open access university. This investigation included 918 candidates who participated in English and/or mathematics assessments during the pandemic, with 561 proctored in-person and 357 proctored online through Examity. During this webinar, Dr. James will discuss the approaches, outcomes, and potential interpretations of the findings from this research.
