To remedy an issue, students should close any applications causing issues, then run Webcam Check from the Help Center to see whether their issue lies within an application or hardware device. If it turns out to be related to an app provider then they should request a fix or workaround solution directly from them.
If a student experiences issues with the Camera Check in the Help Center, they should use the “Camera Troubleshooting” link for troubleshooting tips. These might include temporarily disabling anti-virus software or changing settings on camera utilities; additionally, rebooting and/or closing other programs could also have an effect on webcam functionality.
