Florida State University continues to be esteemed among the finest in the country as per The Princeton Review’s most recent college rankings, enhancing FSU’s nationally acclaimed reputation for delivering outstanding educational value and significant student experiences.
Florida State attained the No. 22 position for Best Value public college nationwide and No. 1 in the state of Florida according to The Princeton Review.

The rankings are derived from a survey of 170,000 students across 391 institutions. Participants answered 98 questions in four categories regarding their school’s academics and administration, campus life, their peers, and their personal experiences.
- FSU ranks No. 1 in Florida on the “Their Students Love These Colleges” list based on student satisfaction, achieving the No. 2 rank among public universities nationwide. This student-led accolade reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to student success and resources.
- FSU’s Career Center strives to prepare students for their prospective careers through a variety of career services and events. The university advanced one position to No. 13 on the “Top 20 Best Schools for Internships (Public Schools)” list, making it the leading public institution in the state for internships.
- FSU students are the most enthusiastic in the state regarding the university’s multiple intercollegiate sports teams. The institution secured the No. 10 position on The Princeton Review’s “Students Love Their School Teams” list.
- FSU ranked No. 13 on the “Top 20 Best Alumni Networks (Public Schools)” list.
- Students have various recreational and athletic facilities available on and off FSU’s campus, including classes and workout spaces at the Bobby E. Leach Center and Fitness & Movement Clinic, as well as FSU’s Lakefront Park and excellent athletic facilities. FSU achieved the No. 15 rank for “Best Athletic Facilities” and is recognized as the best in the state according to the student survey.
